After a gruelling pre-season training program over the last few weeks, u6 Manager awarded the first of the 2018 'Players of The Week' awards to these four boyos. Well done to John Conway, Jack Scanlon, Cillian Brett and Conor Ryan who showed great committment and energy to earn their first awards as O'Loughlin Gaels Hurlers. The first of many we suspect.  Lovely hurling.

Introducing the Players of the Week for Weeks 20 to 22. It's been a busy time for these lads as over the last few weeks since Summer Camp ended the boys have been playing challenge matches, tournaments and still finding time to train.  The work has paid off for these boys though as they were selected by Manager Stephen McCormack as his Players of the Week.

Congratulations to LJ Glennon, Kevin Brennan and Stephen McCormack Jnr Week 20 - Eoghan Morrissey and Fionn Brannigan Week 21 and this weeks winners were Peter Quinn and Tadhg Power.

​Huge crowds descended upon O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Club on Sunday afternoon for the annual u6 hurling blitz.  13 clubs brought 320 u6 eager young stars and their supporters from all over the south east region. Teams from Kilkenny Wexford and Carlow were treated to a festival of hurling organised by the u6 management team spearheaded by Stephen McCormack.  After 2 ½ of first class actions the young boys were presented medals and treats by Club Senior Players, Andy Kearns, Paddy Butler, Paddy Deegan, Eddie Kearns and Stephen Murphy. Super job done by all and what must be the biggest club event anywhere for this young age group. Well done all.

This week's Players of Week are the brilliant Eanna O'Reilly, Kevin Brennan & Charlie Costigan. Well done to the boys who show a great appetite for the game week in week out. Juvenile training continues Sundays at 10.30am and Thursdays at 6.30pm Keep up the good work everyone.

The Cat's new half forward line!!
The future is looking good for the club and if the County Board keep an eye on things don't be surprised to see an all O'Loughlin Gaels half forward line in the not too distant future.  Well done to this weeks Players of The Week - Odhran, Cathal & Tadhg. The three boys have been putting in the hard yards at Sundays and Thursday's training sessions and revieved thier awards this morning for their efforts. 
A big get well soon to u6 Manager Stephen McCormack who will definetly feel better for seeing the boys do so well. Hurry back Stephen - the boys want to show you how good they're all getting.

These three mighty lads are this week's Players of The Week and deservedly so after all the hard training they put in. Always up for a laugh too by all accounts which keeps the u6 panel on their toes. Well done to brothers LJ & Zach Glennon with Michael Nemith....
