U14 GIRLS LEAGUE WIN Under 14 camogie team had an emphatic win over Tullaroan in their 3rd league match on home turf on wed night. All played well on the night for this their first league ever match on the main pitch. 8 goals were scored with efforts by Leah Broaders , Doireann Sloyan Edel Mulholland and Kate Furlong all raising the green flag. Mid field was supreme and defence were also up to the task as the teak tough backs kept their opponents to 2 points. Kate Furlong had the unusual honour of being sub goalie coming on as goalie and ending up as full foward scoring 2 goals.. Other positional switches at half time resulted in many of the girls playing in many different positions . This was total hurling played by a wonderful panel of 20 girls.. If Johann Cryuff managed hurling teams it would be this one. Picture shows the girls with 'Johann Cryuff' and 'Brian Clough'!! GREAT WORKRATE KEEPS GIRLS ON WINNING WAYS
